SCA Staff Recognition Scheme

Salford City Academy’s success relies on the talent and contribution of all staff. We value and reward all our staff for what they contribute and achieve. We find regular opportunities to celebrate and shout about staff contributions.

Culture of Excellence Awards

Each week two members of staff are awarded our Culture of Excellence awards where they are rewarded for their contributions to the Academy culture.

Termly Champagne and REACT Awards

Each term staff are invited to nominate colleagues for a variety of awards. These are discussed and decided by a panel compromising different sectors of staff. These are then awarded in our celebration assembly at the end of the term and celebrated across the school.

Best In Everyone Annual Awards

Staff and students are nominated annually in United Learning’s Best in Everyone Awards which sets out to create a culture of achievement across United Learning and supports United Learning’s strategic aims of great places to learn and great places to work. 

As a Group, United Learning wants to celebrate the outstanding achievements of talented staff and students across the country. There are 25 Secondary student and 8 Primary and Secondary staff awards available for each school, and the Best School Award winners can also win our National Awards.
