Shortlisting / Interviews

We endeavour to shortlist for interview within three working days of the job closing. You will then receive an email to confirm if you have been shortlisted for an interview.  Due to the number of applications, we receive we don’t always contact unsuccessful applicants.   

Please be aware that during school holidays waiting times may be slightly longer due to staff being away. 

If you are invited to interview you will receive a schedule of the day which typically includes the date and time, location, who to ask for on arrival, interview panel members and details of any tasks or presentation required as part of the interview process.  We will also ask regarding disability and if you require any adjustments. 

Depending on the type of role, we may hold further interviews with additional colleagues, or ask you to complete a presentation or tasks relevant to the position for which you have applied. 

You will be asked to bring photographic ID to the interview and evidence of your right to work in the UK.  

Once offered a position you will also be asked to provide evidence/certificates of qualifications listed on your application, so please ensure that you have these to hand. 

Safeguarding Notice

Before you attend the interview, and in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance, your referees will be contacted with a request for references, unless you explicitly state otherwise. 

All positions are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online check.
